Marbel Freay Locarno, MSW, LCSW

Marbel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, families and adults from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds with various presenting problems such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, sexual abuse, grief and loss, anger, conduct/behavioral problems, ADHD and relationship conflicts. She is a Qualified Supervisor for Clinical Social Work Interns. She received a Master of Social Work degree in 1993 from Rutgers University and completed the Advanced Certificate Program in Clinical Social Work at New York University in 2001. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Marbel began her social work career in 1989 with The Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) in Paterson, New Jersey where she was a case manager investigating child abuse and neglect cases. It was there where she first became interested in working with victims of abuse and has specialized in treating victims of sexual abuse and trauma. In 1993 she began to provide counseling in a mental health clinic and has been providing counseling in private practice since 1999. In 2003, she moved with her family to Central Florida where she relocated her private practice. In the spring of 2011 Marbel established a group practice, Mid Florida Counseling, LLC with the goal of providing quality therapeutic services to members of the community.
Marbel incorporates various theoretical approaches of treatment including cognitive behavioral, family systems and psychodynamic methodologies and techniques. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and gain insight on the core issues that are impeding their lives. Along with her theoretical approach, she utilizes play therapy in working with children. Marbel has had extensive training and experience in working with victims of sexual abuse, trauma and crisis situations.
She has been conducting adoption home studies and post placement visits for the past eleven years. She is also a Critical Incident Stress Management Specialist, providing on-site debriefing services to employees experiencing grief, loss and trauma, as well as providing management consultations to area managers, supervisors and HR managers in moments of crisis.
Luis A. Arocho, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Luis Arocho received a Master in Mental Health Counseling degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2003. He has over ten years of experience in the counseling field working with children, adolescents and adults. His area of specialities include working with mood disorders, anxiety, relationship issues, domestic violence, disruptive behaviors and anger management. In addition, Luis  has experience working in a Christian Counseling setting and is open to add faith based theories as they seem appropriate for each client’s individual needs. He also has six years’ experience treating individuals with addiction and substance abuse issues. Luis is a knowledgeable and effective counselor who has experience working with diverse cultural and economic backgrounds. He is well regarded by his existing and past clients and is fluent in English and Spanish.
Pam R. Warlaumont, MSW, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Pam Warlaumont received a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Central Florida in 1997 and has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults and groups. Her philosophy is influenced by a combination of knowledge and experience, professional ethics and a genuine concern for her clients.
Pam takes pride in helping to guide clients in taking the road to personal growth and self-actualization. Ms. Warlaumont has extensive experience working with sexual abuse, trauma and PTSD. Her other areas of expertise are relationship issues, communication, family discord, parenting, anger management, behavior problems, grief and loss, stress, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and self-image.

Lyndi Espique, MSW, RCSWI
Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern

Lyndi received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Temple University in Philadelphia in 2009, while enrolled in their Academic Honors Program. She later attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where she studied and graduated in 2013 with a Master in Social Work degree. Since her move to Florida, Lyndi has obtained status as a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern and is currently working towards acquiring her LCSW credentials and is supervised by Marbel Freay Locarno, MSW, LCSW.

Over the past eight years, Lyndi has dedicated her work and studies to addressing the needs of children, families, and numerous under-served populations. Her experience includes working with individuals, groups and families in healthcare, home and community settings. She has developed specialized skills while attending to the needs of a diverse population of clients in various areas including, autism spectrum, intellectual and developmental disabilities, HIV, substance abuse, mental health disorders, homelessness, veterans issues and trauma. Lyndi prefers to utilize a number of different treatment modalities in order to best meet the needs of her clients, including cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy and solution-focused therapy.

Kristen Nardolillo, MSW, RCSWI
Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern

Kristen received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2014 and a Master of Social Work in 2016 from the University of Central Florida. Kristen has obtained status as a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern and is currently working towards acquiring her LCSW credentials and is supervised by Marbel Freay Locarno, MSW, LCSW.

Kristen has a passion for helping others identify and appreciate the uniqueness within themselves and empower them to recognize their hidden potential. She is an avid advocate for the special needs community. Kristen utilizes strengths-based therapeutic techniques, including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral and narrative therapies, among others. Her background includes three years of hospital-related therapy and social work experience at Nemours Children’s Hospital. She has worked with a diverse population with complex conditions including autism spectrum disorders, down syndrome, HIV/AIDS, sickle cell, cystic fibrosis, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease, mental illness, PTSD, grief and loss.
